generateAfeed dB is a script based tool which generates automatically RSS feeds 2.0 for your website from the information contained in a database. generateAfeed dB is easy to install and contain an HTML webpage to configure the number of feeds you want for your website. No programming knowledge is required to use this script. generateAfeed dB currently supports Mysql database and requires ASP.NET 1.1 and MySQL ODBC 3.51 Driver. A feed is configured by specifying the static and dynamic elements to include in your feed. Static elements which don't need to be updated are saved in a file during the feed configuration. Dynamic elements, mostly the items' sub-elements, are configured by specifying database table/column names containing those elements. When a feed is created, the value of the dynamic elements are fetched from the database with a single SQL select query whose results are ordered depending on a table/column name specified during the configuration. When the dynamic elements are located in more than one database table, generateAfeed dB join those tables during the feed generation using the join directive specified during the configuration. generateAfeed dB also supports static string concatenation for dynamic elements. This is particularly useful for specifying the item's url, whose domain name is generally static but likely includes a value which is some key fetched from the database. Rounded corners are often used in current website design today. Traditionally this has involved crafting individual graphics for each section and using tables to display the code. Corner Div ASP.NET Server Control removes this by generating the images on the fly.The Corner Div ASP.NET Server Control can use any True Type Font file to generate the text in the image. Just by placing the font on your web server you can use the same styling throughout all your site.The control outputs PNG images which allows you to include an alpha transparency in your design. The transparency of each element is completely configurable by using an eight character hex code on the color properties. For IE browsers the control automatically outputs the necessary code to display the alpha transparency correctly. Using a caching technique each image is only generated once to reduce the amount of server processing.The generated markup conforms to the strictest XHTML standards through outputting div tags, and using CSS to control the layout. By using div and CSS for styling of the output and not tables to format the display the markup also complies with the W3C Accessibility requirements.
