PunBB is a multi-platform compatible fast and lightweight discussion board. It is released under the GNU Public License. It's primary goal is to be the faster, smaller and less graphic alternative to otherwise excellent discussion boards like phpBB, Invision Board and vBulletin. PunBB has fewer features than many other discussion boards, but PunBB is also faster and it outputs radically smaller pages. Beginning from version 1.7 miniBB has no php skins and ./skins directory. All colors and former skin info is stored in bb_default_style.css file in CSS 2 format. Having new CSS templates boosted miniBB - it's faster now ;), plus some CSS advantages result in less traffic for your site as we don't need to define every color and border in the HTML format now. Also all templates in ./templates dir have been updated to conform W3C HTML 4.01 standard - this means better.
