If you want to save a lot of time, money, and don’t want headaches, DO NOT purchase this shopping cart!!!! You will just end up losing your money and time. If you value your business and want the best for it, the least thing you want to do is purchase this shopping cart or any products from Digishop, a company that does not care about customer satisfaction and ONLY care about taking money from you. I gave them the benefit of the doubt in hope that they would solve all my problems with their shopping cart, but it was not until I spoke with the COO (Chief Operating Officer- Nick McDuffie when I realized that my statement above is very accurate “Digishop, does NOT care about customer satisfaction and ONLY care about taking money from you.” My experience with Digishop has been very dissatisfying and obviously the people (including the COO and CEO who did not even reply to any of my emails or calls) did not care about my concerns and frustration. Here are the reasons why I urge you to stay away from purchasing this:
1) When you speak with their sales staff prior to purchasing the shopping cart, they will guarantee you that you’ll be able to modify the shopping cart and do any type of changes which is NOT true. After I unfortunately, purchased this cart, the staff changed the story around and said that it wouldn't be possible to do modification with dreamweaver unless the user knows the architecture of the shopping cart Here’s what they said after we purchased this: "It is extremely simple to make an html page into a php page by just changing the file extension from html or htm to php. The downside is that I do not believe you can directly edit php files in Dreamweaver. What you can do instead is modify the html file in Dreamweaver and make the necessary changes and then after you save it in Dreamweaver rename the file to .php." As you can see, it’s not as simple as they make it sound. So if you don’t have any experience with html, css, php, and you just want to modify the layout of your store with dreamweaver don’t waste your time buying this product. In other words unless you’re an expert on html, css and php and you’re willing to spend a lot of time trying to understand the architecture of this shopping cart then buy it. The bottom line is that the only ones who can make modifications to your website will be digishop tech support. Which implies that you will never have full control of your website. Because for any modification you’ll have to contact them and paying more and more money.
2) The upgrade policy is the worst I have ever seen. You have to pay for updates 149, for one time, or 249 for a year. But wait even if you buy the upgrade you’ll have to pay for the re-integration of your existing website with the new version of disgishop, that will be at least 199 which is the cheapest support package they have. If there is a bug in the shopping cart they will send you an email saying things like: “Attention all users of UPS real-time rate quotes within digshop. UPS recently changed how their UPS API processed as of Jan 1, 2007. If you attempt to get a rate quote you will receive the following message: Error: Your invoice may vary from the displayed reference rates. This is due to a UPS change. We have updated our latest version to reflect their new way they process the API. You can call support to have this changed if you are currently in support. If you are not in support you can either purchase a support package or upgrade to the latest version by calling 1-800-747-4270.Thanks,

3) Once they complete the integration, there is very high chance that your design will not match this shopping cart making your website look cheap, and if you want the website to look a little more professional, then they’ll come back and charge you an arm and a leg, making this website way more expensive than any other site available in the market. You’ll notice that they will continue charging you (“tokens”) so that you can pay them more money (and be prepared for their $1000 + quotes for simple changes on the cart (again, please refer to section 1).
4) The staff in this company does not care about meeting deadlines, they will just finish your projects when they see fit, not when they promise that they would get your project done. Be prepared, they’ll start working on your integration the day that it is due and once it’s completed (days later), it won’t even be done well because they are not as professional as they sound to be.
5) Beware of their “Money Guarantee policy.” This is only a 30 day money back policy, and please keep in mind they will take about 2-3 weeks after you purchase the cart to integrate it, so you’ll only have about or less than a week to see if you’re truly happy, which I highly doubt you’ll be. Just like, be ready to lose your money if you purchase this cart. The COO said he’d give me store credit. Now, why would anyone in their right state of mind, want credit with a company that is disorganized and does not offer good products??? I asked him to give me my money back at least for the shopping cart and I said I’d give them the cart back, he refused and said that if I needed help to contact Tech support, how absurd is this. Obviously, he did not care about anything.

If you want to see more security vulnerabilities of this shopping cart just go to google and type: digishop security. Then you’ll find some more..
7) Also they claim that they have thousands of clients including “Google” and that thousands of stores use their shopping cart. Just go look to their examples and try to find at least 3 real and trusted stores that use this shopping cart. You won’t find them… they are just full of lies and false promises.
Please do yourself a favor, don’t waste your time and money with this company as we unfortunately did. I’m taking some more of my time to write this review so that you do not make the same mistake as I did using this company. STAY AWAY!!!!
