Description: Shadows Rising is a RPG Game Engine written in PHP. The Game Engine is aimed at enabling users to install a number of Game Modules which will use the Engine to present an RP game to players on the user's site. Additionally the project will be adding editing tools so that users can create their own custom RP games.Because of the intended level of customisation, Shadows Rising is not just a single game - eventually it will support a collection of customised and unique Game Modules submitted by users to form a library of RPGs which the Game Engine supports.All games are played online, through a browser. As Shadows Rising is platform independent, almost any PHP enabled server supporting either MySQL or PostgreSQL can host it.
